This November, Singapore’s legendary Tippling Club – consistently ranked among the World’s 50 Best Bars and Restaurants – makes its Australian debut with a two-week residency at Canopy Bar, Adelaide. Chef Ryan Clift will transform the intimate 14-seat dining room into his award-winning degustation experience, blending French rigour with playful modern techniques in a retrospective menu of Tippling Club’s most iconic creations.

Tickets are strictly limited, promising an unmissable opportunity to experience one of Asia’s most original culinary voices on Australian soil.

Just Announced:

The series will commence on Wednesday the 3rd of December when Clift cooks with Adam Liston, whose North Adelaide restaurant Yakisan has swiftly earned acclaim for its smoky, umami-laden dishes and high-energy vibes. 

Thursday the 4th will see Clift team up with Duncan Welgemoed of Africola, whose bold, fire-driven cooking and unfiltered energy promise a high-energy meeting of two culinary mavericks. Expect a little chaos, the delicious kind.

Fabian Lehmann of Maxwell Wines, whose restrained European sensibility and deep respect for South Australian produce have made his restaurant a favourite among in-the-know diners, will partner with Clift on Friday the 5th. 

The series culminates on Saturday with Justin James, the acclaimed chef behind the soon-to-open Aptos in the Adelaide Hills, whose bold take on native Australian ingredients has earned him national recognition, who will partner with Ryan for a final night of Tippling Club on the 6th.
